These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Inland Empire Medical Courier LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By requesting, scheduling, or using our courier services, you agree to these Terms.
Services Provided
Inland Empire Medical Courier LLC provides medical courier and logistics services, including but not limited to the transportation of medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, documents, and related healthcare materials as directed by our clients.
All services are provided in accordance with client instructions and applicable handling procedures.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
Proper packaging, sealing, and labeling of all materials prior to pickup
Compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA requirements related to patient care and records
Providing accurate pickup and delivery information
Ensuring materials are ready at the scheduled pickup time
Inland Empire Medical Courier LLC is not responsible for improperly packaged or mislabeled items.
Scheduling & Availability
Service availability is subject to scheduling, location, traffic, weather, and other operational factors. While we strive to meet requested delivery times, delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed unless expressly agreed to in writing.
Billing & Payment
Pricing may vary based on delivery type, distance, urgency, time of service, and frequency. Payment terms will be communicated prior to service or outlined in a separate agreement.
Late payments may result in service suspension.
HIPAA & Confidentiality
Inland Empire Medical Courier LLC maintains HIPAA-aware handling procedures for the transportation of materials that may contain Protected Health Information (PHI). We do not create, store, or access patient medical records.
Responsibility for HIPAA compliance related to patient care, documentation, and data systems remains with the originating healthcare provider.
Liability
Inland Empire Medical Courier LLC’s liability, if any, is limited to the transportation service provided and does not extend to the contents, accuracy, or condition of materials prepared by the client.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, traffic incidents, accidents, or emergencies.
Prohibited Materials
Clients may not request transport of illegal, hazardous, or restricted materials unless expressly agreed to in writing and permitted by law.
Service Refusal
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if materials are unsafe, improperly packaged, unlawful, or if service conditions present a safety or compliance concern.
Website Use
Information provided through our website is for general business communication only. Our website is not intended for the transmission of patient medical records or PHI.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
